Animation is more than fun entertainment and a communication medium, as we know it in the form of cartoons and computer games!
Centre for Education and Animation regards animation as a learning tool in municipal primary and lower secondary schools and as an information media.
Not many people link animation with development and research. Animation is among other things used as an information media in connection with people who are going to have a hip replacement; by using animation you simplify the actual message to patients, which makes it easier for patients to understand.
Thus, it is very important for Centre for Education and Animation to make awareness around animation and to implement it where it is possible and thereby push for development. Hopefully this will lead to a different approach on how we view and use animation.
